Because of his passion in this art, Jesse "Jake" Cuerpo won awards from joining the contests. Internationally and Locally.

He joined the 1st Patik Festiva as collector. It was held on January 16 1999 at Cebu. The awrds he received are 2nd place- big piece color and third place best in tribal.

He won the third place live canvass during the Mavric's summer tattoo festival which was held on May 29 2003.

He was invited to be a judge on Music Warehouse in Manila.

He was again invited to judge the Jekyl&Hyde Tattoo Expo held on November 7, 2003.

He went international by joining 1st world tattoo arts held on Feb 10-12, 2006. His efforts paid off when he won the best on the spot cover-up tattoo.

He also won 2nd place Tattoo of the Day award in Artistry and Pain, a convention for tattoo artist, which was held at Batangas on 2004.

Because of his experienve he was invited again to be a judge at events like Phil Tattoo expo held at Coyote bar malate on November 14, 2003 and Dutdutan na naman on December 23, 2005.

Because of his expertise he became the Secretary of Philtag, which is a local organization that deals with tattoos.
